Not only are the "passionate" women's pictures a throwback to another story, but did anyone notice how the top photo of the story is similar to the faked photo from a 1947 issue of Life magazine - covering the Hollister Rally that gave us ALL a bad rep?

That's cuz 30 year old Beemers need parts.

I've been reading MO for a long time, a long time, and I can't say I've ever seen a nipple shot, be it a peak or purpose. This has to be history or something. Just don't go showing too much of it, I don't want MO getting trashy. Otherwise keep up the good work, it's well worth my money.

Nice article. Hate to be negative, but hey MO...

How 'bout some proofreading and spell-checking? This is a good website. Make sure the details reflect that.

"For years I bowed and worshipped at the heavy metal alter of Milwaukee iron"

Surely you mean altar? There's a joke in there about HD and change, but it's too easy.

That's cuz most Beemers do more miles in one year than most HDs do in 30.

I came real close to buying a Valk as my last bike. I love the look, the power and the ride. But that radiator fan blowing hot air on me was just too much aggravation for riding in South florida. At least with my Gold Wing, the air was diverted away from me. I'll still with my EH - with 47 years of riding, I get more pleasure out of the EH than any bike I've had since my first Whizzer anyway!

...I was going to say that's because BMW design hasn't changed much in 30 years, but that would STILL apply to HD .

Sure did. The original foto featured a drunk passerby posing atop the bike. Some things about the media haven't changed in 50 years.

I did the math. 300,000+ of them and 1000 of you. Sounds like they win.
