I just noticed that you can move the sidecar from the right side to the left side!! How hard is that??

On the contrary, at least for me, EVERYTHING beats skiing. My first trip out, on the bunny hill even, I fell and broke my ankle. The casts came off 7 weeks later. Of course, they tell me that I didn't have my boot tight enough...

I completely & honestly hope you enjoy skiing for many years to come.

For some reason, I don't think I'll abandon motorcycles when I do fall hard enough to break something, but we'll see once it happens

I gotta agree with Buckaroo; who made you the e-family court judge?

No Ural riders posting feedback? Must be busy working on their bikes, or out enjoying them! Seriously though, would a 1939 Harley or any other brand be any more reliable? The Ural IS after all a 1939 BMW made in Russia! I may trade my wife's V-Star for one. She doesn't ride anymore anyway.

Vlad, I really enjoyed your writing and pics. I live in Asheville and ride the roads you described so well. I know it's too late now, but there's a "Urinal" dealer here in town. They probably would've enjoyed meeting you.

Good luck in your future travels.

I'm a previous Ural owner and can only say -JUNK. Spent more time fixing than riding. Also recent changes in factory ownership raise questions about parts and warranty issues.

I love their looks hate their lack of quality.

Save some heartache and buy an old BMW!
