My wife said "How many motorcycles do you need?" and I replied "just one more!"

Thanks, Francis, for the time and the effort you spent crafting this great story about my favorite place to ride. Great pictures, too. Hope you have lots of fun on the Ural and keep posting your travelogues.

Default Thanks for the Memories.

Vlad/Francis, I really want to thank you for writing this story. I had a great time reading it and I could really feel the relaxed feeling of riding something like that. Talk about low stress. I think you lowered my blood pressure a few points. And you were so well prepared for the little inconveniences that they did not become troublesome. I keep thinking of the movies that show men in the engine room of a ship, taking care of the machinery. I hope you have more stories like this one for MO, stories that are not about being the fastest, just about being. It's good to remember that you don't have to be at full lean, tires sliding, gunning for the apex or drag racing from corner to corner to enjoy motorcycling. What was that adage about not seeing the forest for the trees? Take care and write some more.

Cheers,

Singles and Twins (Even Ural Twins) Forever!

The wife loved the trip. She even enjoyed the periodic maintenance chores, though she was glad not to have to do them. The sprout was thirteen, so it abraded his sense of "cool" to admit how much he liked it. But I heard him bragging to one of his friends one day. In reality, he loved it. No other kid in his class has gotten the chance to do anything like it.

Default Helmets for kids

Oh, he wore a helmet for the entire trip. But whenever we stopped to take a picture, he usually pulled it off immediately. He wanted his face in the photos.

I have similar conversations.

"How many more vehicles are you going to acquire?"

"All of them, I think."

Would you like a script for Prozac or Zoloft? Lighten up guy! Quit bustin his balls about the way he wrote the article. You have no idea how he treats his family.

Loved the story and the humor. For what I've heard about Ural's I was surprised you made it. Guess you shouldn't always believe the rumors. Thanks for the article.

Take care,

re-read the first few lines of his story as if you were his step kid. Then think of the fun of a trip with multiple breakdowns. You'll need a few Prozak yerself buckaroo. But thanks anyway for your input. I'll treasure it always.
