There are too many of us around here who have owned post-AMF HDs for you to get away with your arrant nonsense. Your screed proves on the face of it that you are simply full of it.

If you would stop posting nonsense and go check out part prices you'll quickly discover that you can completeley rebuild a Harley engine, top and bottom for way way under $1000. My personal data is way out of date but in '88 I built a shovelhead complete for about $500. At the sametime I priced a rebuild for my Honda CB900C. Just the top end came to over a thousand bucks.

No, your Yamaha is for the junkyard when it wears out. And with the engine buzzing at 8000K so much it'll happen sooner than you think.

Default Buell price

FYI, the MSRP on the Buell XB9R and XB9S has been reduced to $8995.

..."apart from the motor, anyway....."

Exactly.

And Baghdad Bob would be a helluva political analyst, apart from the truth, anyway.

Beyond that, being "better than old Buells" still is the very epitome of damning with faint praise...

Bottom line, you seriously think an XB9R will stand the reliable/durable test of time compared to an SV1000?

No, you don't. Doesn't matter how many 'shrooms you and Carrithers inhaled in Oz, you still know better than that.....

Yep those Magnas are certainly superior. And I'll be able to find out for myself as soon as I come up with the bucks to replace the inferiorly engineered blown stock tranny in the one sitting in my garage.

It is shocking isn't it?

Almost as shocking as seeing that Stern and his corrupt officials couldn't cook another win for the Lakers.
