S4s are nice, that's for sure. But there are many people, myself included, than revel in the simplicity of a 2v air-cooled Ducati.

It already is a classic. At least to many. But I know what you mean. When my kids' version of Art of the Motorcycle is making it's rounds, there will most assuredly be a 2V Monster in the show.

No kidding there. I realize it's a dark colored bike and all but holy cow. I took a better picture of my M900 in front of the dealership with my Sony FD85, and it maxes out at 1.3mp.

I guess what I am *****ing about is the composition. The quality looks good, but the lighting and backgrouds need help.

No kidding; what's with the dirt field backgrounds and long shots of nothing but asphalt? Sheesh, take a course.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was disappointed with the photos. I almost always use a MO photo as my desktop background, but none of these shots are really worth (or big enough).

I have wonderful memories of the 2-valve Monster Dark I owned a few years back. The bike was traded to the dealer to make room in the garage for a very limited production American VTwin custom that I still own and cherish. Last year, I developed "Ducati deficiency disease" and test rode a new Monster Dark. It just wasn't as good as the memories of my old one. The S4, on the other hand, retains the classic Monster style -- and with help from the Ducati Performance catalogue is scary fast.

You mean other than kicking the sh1t out of them in WWII, or the fact that as a naked, the speed triple is 100 times the bike that a M1000 is (and cheaper).

I call for all Brits who read this to stand up and be counted, lets stop being the brunt of so much humour and put these yanks and eyeties in their place!!!

BTW, way to go Triumph for coming in first in the junior (600cc) class TT. (even beating mighty Kawasaki-how about that KPaul?)
