Default Re: Still stupid I see

"Oh and if I keep my 600 above 9k in any gear other than 1st = speeding ticket, above 9k in anything higher than 2nd = taking the bus to work. I like hitting the twisties as much as the next sport biker, but I don't want to lose my riding previledges for it."click here for more of this

Default Re: Maybe VTwins aren't so

Go on Atkins, I'm down 33 Lbs in 2 months... Oh Cholesteral dropped 11 points in the first six weeks too... Who'd a thought that 4 jumbo jacks sans bun made for a nutritious lunch. Yet the pounds keep melting away, this is too good to be true...

Default If shoot outs were based on only displacements

Duc 748 vs GSXR-750

Buell Firebolt vs GSXR 1000 vs Honda RC51

Something to think about

Default Cycle World has high praise for Honda CBR600RR

It was ranked a close second to the Yamaha R6. The Kawasaki ZX-6R was distant 3rd followed by the Suzuki GSXR-600 and then the old CBRF4i. So much for the Honda being a dog.

Default Re: CBR 600RR takes pole

This article refers to the PROVISIONAL pole -- that is, the Friday qualifying session only. Saturday final pole has the same rider on top, but the obsolete Suzukis took 2nd and third.

The SuperSport looks to be a great race. Yamahas and Kawasakis are also right up there in qualification. Earlier in the practice, the top 4 were Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki.

Default So? Where's the rest?

OK guys, you've had enough time to play around with the bikes, now tell us what happened next.

Part 2, where are you? (imitating Shaggy-calling-for-Scooby voice).
