Default Suck up to Honda or die.

I guess I got started when longride said Honda couldn't buy the outcome i.e. they were chicken. Others said the Honda would lose. Basically your shoot out is not legit because it lacks the CBR also a TT600 or Daytona is not in the mix as well. Think you guys should have the Honda guys over for a beer and work this out. Unless you want to buy bikes all the time.

Default Excellent Post makes me long for the good old days.

I think it's naive and stupid to ***** off the world's most successful motorcycle company because of one's irresponsibility. I signed up for another year of MO but now I am feeling buyers remorse. Ah I long for the shootouts of yesteryear. Where Hondas, Kawasakis, Yamahas, Ducatis, and Triumphs battled for the MO crown.

Default Re: Defending the CBR 600 RR (Evidence contary to MO opinion)

"I'd have to say that in the face of the rather public relations suicidal mode of action that Honda is displaying, they're performing admirably." Uh did you read the reasons why Honda didn't want to let them test the bike that won Daytona. Yep sure is smart to ***** of the most succesful motorcycle maker in the world both in sales and racing. Look this a forum by the way how boring would it be if we all said Honda sucks and MO rules. I disagree thats all and I have fun doing it.

Default Re: Oh, then why the ZX6-RR?

I am not so sure about that. Brit motorcycle magazine BIKE said the RR could in fact be better than 636 on the road, since 636 may sometimes have too much midrange for street use. They concluded that RR would be just as fast on the street. And Cycle World went faster on the track (I can't remember which track though) riding the RR.

What wins on Sunday sells on Monday.Racing and the street go hand in hand. When people watch the races they like to see a bike that is like theres and they want that brand to win, bragging rights. And the 636 will not be racing with the other 600cc bikes because it isnt a 600cc bike, its that simple. The simple fact is they should use there 600R in the comparision, this is there true 600cc bike,is it not?

Wow, I didn't think there was that many subsribers that you guys could afford to buy new bikes, but that's cool, I'll reup next year. You guys must get help from advertizers too.

Anyway I think it's great Kawasaki raised the engine size, hell, it's still legeal for most club racing middleweight classes. They should make em' all 650's
