Hmmmm.... Lawrence Fishburn actually owns and rides several bikes in the real world (not the Matrix) He also wants to start doing track days at Willow Springs on his 998. As for the casting, I know "Pokey", the character that "Smoke" is based on. Pokey, though a bit shorter than Lawrence, is about the same age and much less intimidating to look at. he's also a heck of a nice guy. I don't think Fishburn was out of place in that (The wise and experienced old racer) role, as you seem to think he is.

"I see street racers as nothing more than people trying to compensate for the fact that they can't race on a real track for some reason or another. That's why they drag race--no turning skills needed! It's a shame, because the track is the ONLY place to really feel what the machine you're sitting on can do."

I hope you're not suggesting that drag racing requires less skill than roadracing, because it doesn't. It's just a different set of skills.

If inaccuracies in movies bug you, try having guns for a hobby. My wife won't watch action flicks with me cause I start laughing at the gunfight scenes. The rec.guns news group has a whole online database of gun errors in movies.

Default Just wait till Harley Boyz comes out. Maybe Bozworth....

Maybe we can get Brian Bosworth to play the Highwayman.

#1 error in gun movies:

Getting 900 rounds out of a 40 round magazine. They somehow shoot forever on one mag with reloading optional.

From one pilot/rider to another: Keep it up, both will reward the money/effort you put into them. Good luck!
