Not only was it a good read, the art work with Burnsie on the (shouldn't it have been a $3) bill was fantastic!

Well, the word from Frankfort is to bring on the dancing girls! I can stand cleavage as well as the next guy...and why is that sexist?

I think the girls in the office don't mind looking at the hunky copy machine technician with the potato in his pants (as long as it is in his FRONT pocket and not in the rear). How about some intern with cleavage who has a concealed weapons permit? Is this really such a strech for a web site that has a "BABES" site on it?

That KTM Duke is interesting, isn't it. I would like to see them develope a full fairing model.

I too would like to hear the story about the law school boy gone bad...

Why is the mere desire to admire a beautiful woman with cleavage, in itself, sexist? If you are going to have to hire an intern anyway, why not pick one who is easy on the eyes. Methinks you protest too much...

Default Umm, no.

Actually, we didn't prove any such thing. there are several countries operating quite satifactorily based on socialistic principals, England being one such example. I think you meant to use the term "communism", which would've been associated with the USSR and China. And for the record, "we" DIDN'T prove communism doesn't work. All we proved was that the government operating that communist country is more corrupt than the one operating our capitalist country. Think things are better now that the USSR has a free market economy? Would you say you worry more or less about splinter groups getting their hands on fissionable material now that those damn reds have seen the light?

Puhleeeze. Read a book.

and I'm not even going to go partisan here

Where? This is whole diatribe is completely partisan. You've taken advantage of your postition and platform as esteemed motorcycle pundit to air out your (obviously left-leaning) thoughts and opinions on politics. Bad form. If you want to dump your political, abortion rights, gun-law, religion thoughts on the web, start a blog. This content doesn't belong here ..

Is this a motorcycle forum or what? I can't believe that this much space is being taken up by people expressing their worthless opinions about how this country should be run. If Burns (or anyone else) feels the need to get up on a soapbox to spout their political views then find another forum. I would like to personally thank him for f***ing up a good discussion about motorcycles. I ride motorcycles to escape all of this type of crap and I can't even get away from it at a site called "motorcylce.com". Before anyone else makes a bigger fool out of themselves can we get back on a motorcycle topic.

If forgot one thing - John Burns is an idiot.

Default A note of thanks, JB

I enjoy reading your columns, John; whether they're about bikes or stupid people I think you turn a graceful phrase-something I miss in the post Dennis Miller world. But just as enjoyable is the way I KNEW this column would draw fire-I couldn't wait to get to the reeder feedback. Lets count how many baits you were trolling: homosexuals, the economy, partisan politics, Russian tanks, Watergate, wife-beating, and breasted-American interns.

I tip my hat to you, and look forward to Part Two in the series.

Mr. Burns, you had better watch yourself getting into politics. You are going to lose readers who come to your site to read about motorcycles. Many of us come to your site to take our minds off the rhetoric, not to be enticed into discussing an already frustrating situation. Maybe you should either back off, or leave MO and run for office your self.
