I think everybody has forgotten (or maybe they are just too young to know) that Saddam was Regan's and the Elder Bush's boy back when he was in the 8 year war with Iran. We backed him financially and suppied him with the same weapons he used in the attack on Kuwait. We also told him it was OK to attack Kuwait (April Gillespie- "The US has no interest in your border dispute with Kuwait").

France is under Napoleonic Law. You are guilty if arrested until you prove your innocence. Nice, huh?

The French just passed a law that lists the Baptists as a dangerous extremist religious cult.

You should move there. You deserve France.

You say you're "not even going to go partisan" and then immediately proceed to do so.

"Stupid people" is right.

Default Choice of words

I love how the news and the politicians refer to any government they don't approve of as a "regime", because it sounds scary.

I wonder what people would think if the "free press" (what a misnomer) instead called the Bushies "The Bush Regime", and referred to Saddam as a Govt. instead. The words are synonymous.

I think this has gotten a bit off point here...teh question is not whether Saddam is a bad man...I think that there is a consensus on that one.

I didn't pay good money to hear this drivel!! I want to hear about motorcycles and the experiences of people riding them. You may be bored with the idea but thatÂ’s why I browse this site.

If you are this bored with motorcycles please go write somewhere else.

You are speaking for yourself, obviously. Look at the response this article has generated. Even you responded. The article wasn't just about Burnsies' political views, rather about twisted logic. He used politicians as examples...and what better examples are there to be had?
