So what are the colors we aregetting? I have seen blue, green on both R and RR, red, silver, and black. I want the black one, it looks mean as hell, I already have a silver one so give me something new.

The plot thickens. But their GP bike is a inline 4 Go figure.

I think you are right. If I tell folks I have a ZX-6R they give me the same look my Yorkie gives me when I sing. If I tell them I have a Ninja they say cool. Your bike must be fast.

Default Re: What are they NOT Selling?

Good points the reason the 250 and 500 are such bargains is because they never change. Just change the decals and paint and sell the same bike. Tooling is paid for. But by selling these bikes Kawa like this they get people in the sport on a good bike (500 at least)

Default New 03 Ducati's

The New 03' Ducatis' are now listed on Ducati's webpage. There are full details on all the bikes! This includes the NEW 999, 749, 1000SS and a few other models. Their lineup is impressive. Check em out:

Kawasaki isn't Kawasaki without ninjas, but hey, that's just me. I believe the Kawasaki ninja predated the ninja turtles, but not positive. Besides, ninja means "warrior" in japan, and that is cool. I like the names. I think Honda should bring back the Hurricane moniker also. Would you rather have a Corvette or a Chevy 350?

As for the bikes, that ZR is awesome (needs a better name though) Love the pipes. A nice poke in the eye. Every once in a while Kawasaki unleashes a bike that just appeals emotionally stylewise and this is one of them. My 87 250 was another, the 900 ninja, ZX-11, the first 750 ninja, the list goes on. Just when I thought Kawasaki stylling might be getting stale, they renew my faith.

Marty O, Kawasaki fan for life!

Default Huh?

I can't see how you could get three more differently styled bikes than those 3 considering they are in the same category with the same architecture.

Default No Honda not inverted

Damnit I said I'd never own another Kawasaki after my last ZX-7R, but that 600 could bring me back. Love the look of the thing (especially the seat unit), especially compared to the Honda that looks like a mess (although the HRC racer pics that are going about look sweet cause they tidied it up a bit).

Then again, that street fighter looks great as well. Decisions decisions.

Default More racey...

...because people moaned about the sit-up ergos on the old bike. 600's don't make the most effective tourers after all. They're more in their element on track days which this bike is more accurately aimed at.
