Geez, doesn't anyone else get sick of the incessant other-magazine bashing? Grow up, people! Don't make me regret spending that $11.94 today. I coulda bought an issue of RiDE and half an issue of PB for that price.

Flat six, 1800 cc and looks like an intergalactic cruiser, THIS IS MY BABY! Now there is a bike that V-Rod owners don't want to park their bikes next to. And it seriously kicks ass too...

So Longride, this Rune thing is a copy of exactly which other bike? Like a V-Rod? Well for starters they both have a massive flat six apart from V-Pod.

In Europe the Japs have always sold with low prices and high quality (the latter since the Kawa H1 and H2 went out of the fashion) thus dumping can not be in question. Otherwise, as capitalism dictates it, they would go belly up themselves.
Lets give it to them, they are more productive and more quality minded than the Euros or Yanks. -cruiz-euro |

I re-read the busa-blkbird comparo on MO. I think they (as well as myself) found the peg position to be more comfortable on the Bus than the Bird. Seems strange you found the opposite. Im 6'3" 210lbs with a 36 inseam. Thankfully suzuki didnt give the Bus the same ergos as a GSXR, which i assumed for a while til actually got to ride one for an extended amount of time before buying. Stretched out well for taller guys.
I wont fault the Honda for much. Its a gentlemens big bore bike. Does nothing wrong. Just a little too much of a "bore" to me to get the juices flowing. Im hoping the next XX is a bit more edgy. Id consider trading up and going back to honda if the new bike is right. As far as looks, youre right. Its subjective. Call it ugly, call it beautiful, whichever. But it IS functional, and it IS radical. But unlike the XX, it is NOT anonymous!!
