...and handlebars do not a motorcycle make.

But Yamahammer does make said motorcycles and, yes, the YZ450F is such a machine.

I'm lovin any dirt content, so keep it up. Better yet, do a MO-style wierd test. Something like a 250 2 smoke vs YZ450F vs XR650R vs DRZ-400S. You know, the sort of apples to mangoes contemplation real people do every day when they can buy only one bike to do multiple jobs.

While you are at it, include any brain-enhancement vendors you run into so that nitro mron above can beef up his cranial output.

BTW: fat fingers (e.g. mron vs moron) is an affliction unrelated to crainial capacity.

You got that right. No better place to learn to ride a motorcycle than on a dirt bike. They ingrain the "roll on the gas and stay loose reaction" when traction goes away. Too many street only riders freeze up and fall down when they hit a slippery patch or push the front end a bit coming into a corner and momentarily lose traction

I have a modified TL1000 and a 500cc dirt bike. They complement each other. Both do excellent wheelies and both are quite capable of breaking traction in fun ways

This is great!!! I had kinda given up on you guys since I sold my street bike for a dirt racer. This will keep me coming back. I would like to see some comparo of the bikes in a track, trail, and just for kicks a drag race too.
