Fair enough -- and as I figured. I hope to see the R1150R in the mix when you do shoot it out on the streets of the real world, though (along with some of the other worthies you referred to).

LOL The BMW would of been smoked by the other bikes. I am glad you left it out. These are the relevant bikes and you guys entertained me. BMW material should of be used only for insomnia treatment

What's the use of comparing a lame duck to long standing models? The X-1 is history, replaced by the XB9S, which I'm sure is next to impossible to get right now. The only X-1's that will be available anymore will be used.

If I had a more broadbased knowledge of motorcycles I'd make some snyde remark about how, by your logic, they should also include (insert manufacturer name here)'s (insert discontinued naked bike model name here) in the test as well. I'm sure some of the more model-savvy members of the MO community can help me out with an appropriate example.

Default I agree 2 seconds is a big difference

depending on the speed that could be 100-200 feet seperation.

Which one would that be? VOR, Husaburg, KTM, ATK ... I can think of quite a few. You can't mean Harley, as Road Kings and similar full dressers are hardly "nekid"

I figured it was as naked as a FZ1 and has street characteristics.

Also missed the R1150R but I guess they can only have so many bikes in one comparo. Maybe the XJR1300 should have been there instead of the FZ1...........
