Those look just as silly as squid boots. I don't think I would want to walk around in those any more than I would want to walk around in racing boots.

First, the Cruiserboots are not much more expensive, and are perfectly waterproof, and have kevlar liners around the ankle, and so on and so forth as the MO product review and the CW website shows. Because of this, I think the CW boots are a better value.

Second, I am looking forward to regular product reviews, but how about some EXPERT information about things like abrasion resistance of varous materials, impact energy transfer of various types of body armor, and accident injury statistics to go with them? It's one thing for JB to say what he likes to wear, but frankly, unless he's taken a lot more spills than I think he has, in the same exact ways, he's no expert on modern material science, or body armor or anything else that is vitally (literally) important to us riders.

Thanks!

When I said ANYTHING ELSE, I didn't mean literally ANYTHING ELSE. I meant to my knowledge, no one at MO is a motorcycle accident guru, or materials science expert. I'd like to see that kind of information, that you just don't get without research, no matter how many hours on the saddle you may have.

Sorry for the incomplete typing.

That's what you get for scheduling your U.S. History class right after lunch.

By the way, the guys on the Blue team "won".

Erik, do you have the Cruiserboot?

I was wondering how the ankle breaks when you sit on an ST. I would think they'd "bind" if you sit over or forward of your footpeg.

I have the Cruiser Works Men's Tour model. I'm 6' tall, normally proportioned as far as leg to torso, and I have never had any problems with the boot binding in front of the ankle.

Nah, these definitely look better. Provided you aren't in a polished-wingtips kind of office situation, I can see these being all-day wear. They worked just fine for James Dean in "Rebel Without A Cause," too.

Default The History Major nerd responds

I just thought that it was an interesting name given and implication made about the war. After all, let's not forget who fired the first shot!

OK, we're far enough off topic now. I'll drop it. Nice boots, good review, keep it coming! (Gently prodding conversation back to bikes.)

Default Since the Alien abduction ...... Zapata and speedsport are the first to ...

1. Zapata notices that BLM has his zipper down on his leathers and has sunburnt pecs

2. speedsport notes the BLM is sporting a Conway Twitty hairdo.

3. minime is calling him "Lord Burns"

4. Now these very dorky looking boots.

2 theories come to mind.
[*]Theory 1. Alien cult and a comet. BLM is the ring leader thus name Lord Burns
[*]Theory 2. Its first wave of the Harley conspircy. Next BLM will be wearing fringe leather and chaps for sport bike track tests. then a few months and BOOM MO changes name to HO . Oh well the babes pic section should get sleazyer (hope you don't have any pics of my moms layout in Easy Rider)
