Excellent points. OK I take back the Harley remark but still wish you come fix my mouse.

Actually, it is ~ 2% power loss PER THOUSAND FEET OF ALTITUDE. Sorry-just wanted to clear that up.

At first I thought it was Lyle Lovett, just shrunk down a little.

Here's what it is for me...I want as much HP as current technology can economically provide. I don't want to ride around on something that doesn't measure up. Whether I can use it or not (trust me, I cannot) is not the issue for me.

It's my ego that wants the HP, not my track skills, which are mostly absent. Any dueling I'm likely to do will probably be of the straight line variety and I want a respectable amount of power that I can turn on like water from a tap.

Yeah, I know...shallow, stupid, irresponsible, whatever. I want it because it's there and because I can have it. I don't need anymore reason than that. Hey! At least I'm honest and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone!

I wouldn't worry about your ego. You obviously have a healthy outlook, considering that you can openly state that things that you consider to be a weakness.

( I vented enough earlier in the thread, now I want to turn this board into a love fest )
