I just got home and watched it all and HackyFu was giving you guys hell. Minime, you looked a little jittery, but I don't blame you. I used to ride that side of the moutain wobbly too.

'sport-tourer of the year'?? Excuse me while I go LOL. The 954 looks like a great canyon carver, and you can ST on just about anything...but to call it 'sport-tourer of the year' is ridiculous.

Interesting reading. Someday I'll throw a leg over one of these bikes. For now I'll just have to pretend my SV's got 140 hp.

How well do those handlebar weights work at cutting bar buzz? Maybe that would smooth our the r1 some?

Anybody with experience with bar weights?

Truth be told, I'm far and away a Honda fan, first and foremost.

Doesn't mean I can't face reality though.

Can you?

Thanks for including "Fishsticks" (?) amonst the riders. I now feel svelt at 6'1" 200lbs. Not to mention the releaf I feel knowing that I'm not the only rider in the world that sees stange beings at the apex of every turn poised, sand and gravel in fists, just waiting to lay down a zone of zero traction in my carfully chosen line.

Oh, and the bikes all sound cool.

No. The damper does make it feel heaver in side-to-side flicks. But feedback from the front end is not dampened by the, um, damper. Ducatis, for example, have stiff steering dampers though their front-end feel is exemplary.
