I ride a moped (a Kymco Cobra 50), as well as a 2002 Goldwing, as well as a ZX12R, as well as a TL1000s with Ohlins. So I guess by that you must mean that he would be a well-rounded individual, unthreatened by stereo-types questioning his sexuality.

Because the alternative would be that you are a loser that uses your bike as a personality transplant.

I'm not incorrect on the origin to the term squid as it applies to motorcycling. It does stand for squirrelly kid. I spent five fun filled years in the Marines and am all too familiar with the navy term squid, That version does not apply here.

squidly....another idea of the origination was when Navy seamen would travel abroad and bring back motorcycles not available in america. they would bring back the exotica of the day, and have very little experience on how to handle them, making the riders dangerous, at best. Navy enlisted were already reffered to as squids, and the name was just blanketed over dangerous riders as a whole.

Default Oh no, not Car & Driver

Please don't ever ask MO to be more like Car & Driver. I've read that "publication" and its utter crap. At least the rice boy magazines are honest about what they can do and what they want. Car & Driver caters to a crowd that pretends to be focused purely on performance when in reality they drive like Grandma.

I applaud MO for being honest in its reviews and telling us what we need to know.

Example:Yes, the new GSYZKW-1RR is hyper quick, but the seating is so uncomfortable you'll only be able to ride it at the track and to the coffee shop.

Also, they've made their comments clear enough that you'll know how to reorder rankings if all you care about is track performance (or riding to the coffee shop). At this point, MO is right there with the print magazines Motorcyclist and Rider. Please don't encourage them to be the online equal of Cycle World or (shudder)SuperBike.
