As I read this, the words of my neuro-surgeon ring in my ears as I laid on the table after being hit from behind at 80. That helmet saved your life, but I don't why you don't have a broken neck. Most like you live, but spend the rest of their lives as a quadriplegic. I wonder if the insurance community would like carrying that cost...
BTW, what is the #1 cause of death in automobile crashes? Head trauma. I say helmets should be mandatory in ALL vehicles! Just think of the lives that would be saved....

It's a fact. Detailed studies have shown that cellphone=using cagers are just as dangerous as DUI drivers. Since the DUI folkers don't have a huge lobby like the telecomm industry, they aren't allowed to practice their chosen driving abberation...but the cell cagers are.
