Buell lives and uses all the air-cooled L-twin motors it can eat. Ducati builds a Scambler, HD builds a Scrambler and The V-rod gets a 1098 motor for the next generation.

I thought I should be doing better. It may need some tuning etc. I did put in new plugs, but the old ones seemed ok... Maybe I need to get the carbs synchronized and adjusted.

Thanks!

Yep I agree good forum material I can't see any synergy i.e. much less synergy than there was between Chrysler and MB..... Harley would only invest money i.e be the owner..

Different frames mean different riding style, really. Same catagory of bike but the intent with both are different now. Monsters are the standards of the Italian motorcycle industry. Roadster bikes are different than there American sportbike cousins. I'd can see them living in co-existence as long as Buell keeps the "sport" in the bike. It will, also, bring the prices down on both manufatures bikes in the future. Not that $10k is a lot anymore in this industry, but if you can drop a price by $500-$1000 you will sell more at the end of the day.
