Triumph is where it is because an obscenely wealthy John Bloor was in love with the marque and decided to resurect it, in spite of being based in the UK. Credit the man, not the country.



There aren't a lot of people with that kind of ching in the world. Of those who are in the U.S., apparently none are so nutty about motorcycles as to put forth the mammoth investment to pull off a Triumph. They're more interested in sports teams and playing with rockets.
