In 1952 a new Harley 74 cost $1,000. A Harley WLDR flat track race-ready bike also cost $1,000. I think my 1951 BSA Gold Star also sold for about that, or maybe a bit less.

An economics quiz from a guy who thinks that small manufacturers going in & out of receivership is a model Harley should follow...

And he always mentions Econ 101 which is clearly as far as he made it in economics.

I never realized computer nerds were experts in economics.

Have the same intelligent, motorcycle-related discussions we have during his periodic check-outs. May not generate the post-count, but some people value quantity over quality. And slowly, people turned off by the garbage will start coming in for the moto-excellence, pushing the post counts back up.

No, I never economics. Did you English genius?

I'm not a puppet of my party. You call yourself a Republican and you defend a liberal Democratic president and you don't like it when I mention his failures, and you call me a bad Democrat?

Pot and kettle, you little twit. Pot and kettle.

I'm voting for the people who REALLY can't win, not the mealy mouthed asshats who actually will.

Us and the welders are IUOE. one of their big threats last time around was to break us away from IAM scales. We threw them for a loop when we jumped on it and wound up $1.00 over an IAM grade 11 plus my $1.75 Team Leader premium plus OT, which has made up for losing my shift pay and OT when I went to days.
