Actually, the GTO was a rebadged Holden Monaro, sold in Europe as a Vauxhaul. It's very fast, and handles very well, and was one of the Top Gear guys favorite cars.

You'll probably be happier with the next GTO, that has that 'retro' styling that's so popular these days.

The Holden is coming back as a 4-door, that's even uglier than the Goat was. . . .

Dodge screwed up the charger also. The concept vehicle was a lot better than the production model.

..you may be right on that. When I think "cruiser" I picture something akin to an old Virago, with pull-back bars, stepped seat, sissy bar, etc (a faux Japanese "chopper").

If I could still ride a bike, I'd like to have one of those big RoadStar Yamahas. Way too big to go fast, but just right to go slow.

Have you seen the Can-Am Spyder? A buddy of mine with a serious leg handicap is looking at it. He thinks he may be able to ride with it's eletric shift option.

It's been too soon from this recent injury I'm plauged with...just trying to get through the day without pooping in my pants...

One thing I don't like about three wheelers, you can't split lanes.

Didja see that kid Ricky James (paraplegic) who just completed the Baja 500 on a modified CRF450? Too much.

Maybe someday. Got to speak with David Bailey yesterday, he said there have been some amazing advancements in repairing damaged spinal cords...I'm not holding my breath though.

Nope, 62 different Nekkid bikes would be perfect, I'd give my furniture to my oldest daughter and her f*ckwit lazyass boyfriend and turn the downstairs into a garage and have one of each, then I'd turn half of them into cafe` racers, bob the other half and spend all day lookin' at 'em

I'm really hoping that they'll follow up the new Camaro with a new Firebird, then drop one of those tasty new supercharges LS7s to make a new, proper GTO on that platform.

David Bailey, is he the M/C attorney I see the ads for?

Obviously I'm no where near in your situation, but I'm still recovering from a broken back adminstered by a nice old lady cager. I'm to the point now where I can ride at least a few hours...still hurts but managable.

God Bless You!

F*uck, you too eh? Mine got broken at T-12, complete spinal cord severence. Idiot in an SUV nailed me. Didn't even see him...

Where'd you get it? Did they have to put a bunch of screws and rods and stuff in your back?

David Bailey was a pro 500cc AMA MX Champ back in the early 80's (team Honda). Broke his back at T4 when he failed to negotiate a big double jump.

He's some guy, was the Ironman champ in 2001 (in a wheelchair!).
