What do you expect? the guys got more money than brains.. He could have picked up a killer MV or Ducati for a quarter of that and had just as good a bike.

If he really had any brains he could have a GSXR 1000 and have more bike than he could ride in a year for 10 grand.

Serves him right.

You have to look at it from the perspective of a man who makes 20 mil per movie. Buying this thing for him is like me buying a die cast model of the same bike.

Xenu made him do it.

It appeases the souls of the alien race that was stacked around all our volcanos and exterminated with hydrogen bombs.

I was going to post something about Xenu but you beat me to it, damn you.

I still trying to figure out the first sentence:

"Some people have got a lot of money and then there are people with a lot of money and Tom Cruise fits into the second category"

He could have paid $60k for a Bimota Tesi 2D and used the rest to pay for a psychiatrist.

Cruise actually is a motorcycle enthusiast. I would compare him to Jay Leno as a collector. Cruise also goes to the track frequently. There was a video of him on the track with a Ducati.

My respect for him doubled when I saw that.

It's still stuck at zero.

If I remember correctly, Vyrus had actually designed and maybe even built the Bimota Tesi 2D. They sell their version with a liquid-cooled motor.
