oh, and why in the hell is gas so damn expensive in California!! And thanks to all my freeway riding out there I now feel like everyone in Tucson is driving 15 mph.....

Yeah, same for me. I do get 45 or so grinding down the freeway though. Mine's a 96. I ended up going up two teeth on the rear sprocket, but I don't see much difference, one way or the other, even though I use 6th more now.

We have 'special' gas, and eschew gas from other states, unless they meet our exalted standards for emissions.
