FZ1 or SV1000 are good choices if value is a prime concern. If performance is the main factor then get the GSX-R 750 and suck it up on the ergos. This is a very personal and subjective subject . Life is short. Get what you want that fits into your budget. If you "settle" you may end up disappointed.

I'll play the isert my bike here, 97 YZF 1000R the "Thunderace" if you can find one; as it was a one year wonder bike. Handling, Speed, Comfort, and Looks what more could you want? Only doside I've found is it "IS" a one year wonder bike.

Two weeks of vacation



One week in Charleston (actually mount pleasant) to visit some friends. Then one week in the Outerbanks of NC with the in-laws.



We have friends in Charleston and one of them rides. Every time we head down there I wish that I'd brought my bike. This year I finally got spousal buy in

Thanks I haven't started planning out the route yet but I've been wanting to ride skyline and such for a while now.

We used to dive-bomb Womp Rats with old T-16's back on Tatooine when I was just startin'-out flyin': They're not much bigger than one Meter.
