Well, that's kind of up in the air. Was it life imitating Hollywood or Hollywood imitating life?

The only reason that ever made sense to me was by a hell of a nice guy I knew in AZ that owns the Scottsdale Gun Club, Terry. He was ex-military and at one point he was working with anti-gang units in L.A.

He said the original reason for holding the gun sideway was for a type of close quarters combat. It allowed the individual to pull away from someone that was grabbing or reaching for the gun in question while still allowing them to shoot. (The movement was of the arm holding the gun sideways pulling back and over your shoulder/head)

Kind of hard to explain without seeing it.

Is this how it really originated? Who knows, but it is the only reason, thus far, that I have heard of that makes any practical sense.

But if I were a betting man, I'd put my money on ignorance and stupidity. Kind of like when you see any third world countryÂ’s "military" shooting their AK. ItÂ’s usually from the hip or held out in front of them away from their shoulder. Tards.

And when I ride in 45 degree weather it's like dipping your bait and tackle into ice water for 45 minutes.

No matter what type of thermals I've got on.

Default Aiming and Islam

The Islamic fundamentalist mindset is that it is unmanly to aim. They trust to Allah to guide their bullets to strike the infidel. That's how you tell the difference between the faithful holy war types and the "I just hate the west and hide behind Islam" types. The latter are experienced and serious, and infinitely more dangerous.

No, I'm not making this up.

Since we're on the subject, most people aren't aware that the jihadis are usually put on powerful psychotropics before they suicide. It's doubtful that there would be even a tenth as many if it weren't for the wonders of modern pharmacology.

Next thing you know it'll be; What! no ABS? You're costing us money! Sooner or later the gov steps in to save us from direct control of our Motorcycles wheels.

Then someone has to try to explain trail braking/low-traction riding to some non-riding politicos in a futile attempt to save choice, to no avail of course.
