I want to temper some of these comments and provide some perspective. "Lean, and lean a little more," "Trust your bike," etc., are not always going to get you through the day. I was dragging my Monster (years ago) through a corner and leaned, had to lean more, kept on the throttle and leaned even more, but...and this is my warning...the Monster of old was known for low pipes and low pegs, and when I touched down it levered the chassis up, upsetting the bike, and I had to stand it up and go off the roadway where the front wheel went down in sand, a lowside.

If your bike isn't made for hard-core cornering, don't corner too hard. If your bike is not made for the track, or is not on a track, don't ride like it's a race. IMHO.

I just don't want someone to go out there and feel they have to push it.

Good catch

But I would rather learn from someone like Pete or in this case Ken K. than longride who lives in Chicago for gods sake. Can you imagine having a busa in Chicago what a waste.
