I propose that all motorcycle riders take a stick avoidance/stick transversing training course.



Oh yeah, that's in the MSF beginner's course.

I used to ride my motorcycle to driver's ed classes when I was in high school. One of the advantages of having 8 brothers/sisters is that your poor parents can't keep track of everybody. I'd tell mom I was going for a trail ride and head off to class. I even rode myself to the DMA (MVA in MD) to take my motorcycle test. You are supposed to be accompanied by an adult if you have a motorcycle learners permit. I told the tester that I didn't know any licensed riders but, if I passed the test, I could ride home legally. He was a nice man. Try that today.
