Z1000 pipes, grip streamers, and a Yosemite Sam "BACK OFF" mudflap.

You can also get an 8 track Craig Power Play if you are real cool.

The '86 Concoursii had lower bars than the other years. I have the E46N box, which is fairly cheap; extremely cheap if comparing to HD Tour Paks.

I'm holding out for the chrome "Reclining Nude" mudflap with fringe. Somebody out there must have produced one by now.

"Cycle World or Motorcyclist did a review on a JC Whitney (of all things!) box they said was pretty good. After the dinky saddlebags I've lived with on the HD for so long, the stock bags seem gigantic."

I have one of those - it's cheap, but an acceptable knockoff of a Givi top-box. Mostly, it's in the fit and finish that I could complain about. The "reflector" that wraps around the box - isn't. It's just a piece of translucent red plastic with a piece of white paper backing it. Easy-enough to cure with a few bucks worth of that retroreflective tape replacing the cardboard (there are two trim screws on the inside that hold the red lens in place).

It comes with a metal mounting plate that holds the box fairly well, but only two cheap-ass pieces of metal to mount the plate to your bike. You WILL have to fabricate something, hope you have mad metal-working skilz, Yo!

(lucky for me, I do.......)

You can keep the cracks around the windshield mounting hole from propagating by drilling a small (1/16") hole at the end of each crack. This wonÂ’t keep new cracks from starting, but itÂ’ll stop the old ones dead in their tracks. (This trick is called "stop drill" in the aviation community). Sure, youÂ’re gonnaÂ’ lose to the new cracks eventually, but if youÂ’re as cheap as most Connie pilots, youÂ’ll jump at the chance to defer the expense of a new windshield!

Enjoy the Connie and remember, "ItÂ’s more fun to ride a slow bike fast than it is to ride a fast bike slow!"
