rubbish. do you think socialism is better? we'd be riding 125s or 250s. we do not need a nanny state.

Rubbish again. To quote mr frankln:

Benjamin Franklin

ps, George is okey dokey in my books.

I still think that the .22 comment would solve all those others.

I'd go a step further and say that they also never get the safety in the final analysis.

Or as Juvenal said, "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?"

Britain has one CCTV camera for every 14 citizens now. Total effect on crime = 0.

Default A Clockwork Orange

You're just too far out of the mainstream.

That's okay. There are plenty of mental hospitals where you can get your attitude adjusted free of charge.

Well, actually you get to pay for that too.

A complete newbie has no prior experience to decide what is resposible or irresponsible. Kind of like not asking the right questions because you don't know what the questions are. For the salesman, however, it is assumed that they understand motorcycles thoroughly and there is a (minimal) level of trust on the part of the customer that this professional will not completely screw them just to make the sale.

No that's not a vicious cycle. Now, a 1984 Magna...THAT's a vicious cycle.

I'll tell you how I handled the bikes vs kids dilemma. When my kids were growing up I bought UJMs at least 7 years old. Got them for a few hundred bucks. Old 70s 2 smokers for the dirt. Cheap too. Now you CAN afford to keep a couple. Just give over the need for a new one until your kids are gone. About 20 years. If you're lucky. (snicker).

Heh heh. Are you having fun yet?

Some friendly gentlemen in a Black Suburban are on their way to see you about you anti American hatred of the Government. Please refrain from any sudden movements and place the TV remote on the table in plain sight.

Thank You.
