I accepted that as A Priori. What people seem to forget is that it takes a commodity called time to earn money to pay taxes. By what right does the government have to take my time, that I cannot get back? Personal income taxes are a relatively new thing in America. People also forget that not that long ago, the average American did not pay any federal taxes. As far as I am concerned, there is nothing I want from the federal government, so don't tell me about the services I get. In fact, give me my SS back too...I can invest it better.

Crime rates have gone up more in the UK than here though....In fact, since disarming the populace, it has gone up a lot. I'd never live in the UK...To many invertibrates. Look at the spineless bastards that got caught by the Iranians...Oops, off topic.

Stunning and sobering news.

Your sense of humor appears intact, which speaks well of you.

I have tried and failed to pen some words of commiseration but they came across as Hallmark Tripe and I was forced to punch myself in the face and shred my mancard.

So instead, I offer a coupon: If I get the opportunity to meet you I will buy you one (1) non-premium domestic (US) beer. 12 ounces. Preferably at happy hour prices.

I do wish you the best as you continue to heal,

Cheese

A two-year old used Ninja 250 that had 5K miles on it and had already taken some falls on the pavement.

We'd all park our elderly sportbikes in order to shop for dinette sets!

Oh no. He buys "carbon offsets." What a friggin' joke.

I guess the lesson is, if you have money you can pollute all you want.
