Your comment is spot-on, but says nothing about the ridiculous proposition that prices set by the state are 'moral...'

I can't even count how many traffic laws are on file in the various states around this country yet we still lose over 40,000 lives on the roadways annually....

Default Excellent Point

The great point.. Just think if we had no traffic laws and relied on "personal responsibility".

By my count they'll need about 210,000,000 bunks. That leaves about 90,000,000 for administration, barely enough.

So, I guess were saying that economic responsibility trumps moral responsibility. Unfortunately, I think you are probably right.

A friend and I were getting a burger at some greasy spoon and the frycook was admiring our bikes, and said he was gonna get a Gixxer or some other liter bike 'as soon as he got his license' We both told him that he would be a lot better off getting something with less horsepower and fewer plastic bits and lower insurance costs, etc. My friend saw him a few months later on an R1. I hope he didn't end up killing himself, or scaring himself right out of the sport.

No correlation kwrong is kbser. Have you every been to England. I suspect that the crime rates are still way much lower than the U.S.
