Default Truisms to high mileage

There are some truisms to getting more miles to the gallon. Fewer cylinders, higher compression, lighter weight, and smaller displacement, lower speed, all contribute to great mileage. Combine them all, say into a Honda CB125, and you get 90+ mpg.

The deluxe large displacement scooters have steel frames with extra weight added to provide stiffness in the inefficient open frame design. Aerodynamics don't count in stop-and-go because you don't reach high speed.

The best MPG design in a scotter was Craig Vetters Yamaha back in the 1970s. It could get a claimed 200mpg.

Skipping all of the Knonsense, I was going to suggest a Buell as an alternative to seruzawa's Sportster idea.

I've seen chicks fight in 8th grade and that was ten times the entertainment of this thread. Same ol' lies being told over and over again. Sad.
