"How are gas prices doing?"

Hell of a lot better than you predicted last year.

That article says it's $4.18 for a gal of premium at one gas station. Also says CA avg for regular is $3.22/gal. Like I said, not $4.

I work in a Government facility, so for security, they decided to install one of those "ramps" that prevent you from going in, but can be lowered when you're leaving. Short story long, everyone was new to the system.

I'm leaving one day, and when I get near the ramp, it comes down. I leave, but my rear wheel is still on the ramp, as I'm waiting for pedestrians to pass. The ramp operator, who was 100' away at the bottom of the driveway figures I'm clear, and starts to raise the ramp. Next thing I know, my rear wheel is heading skyward and I'm falling off. Hit my helmet on the curb at the side of the driveway. No harm to me, but $1400 damage to my new bike with 100 miles on it. They paid, and I learned that even if you're stopped, it doesn't mean stuff can't happen.

"Well there's another one for the GMP"

How so? That's almost a year after your deadline, and just in one place . Here in Maine, it's still below what you said the floor would be last year.

That's like saying the Pats would win the Super Bowl last year, and claiming to be right if they win the AFC championship this year.

Ah, why do I bother arguing with kweasel?

Pathetic f*cking liar:

"$3.00/gal is the floor not the ceiling. $4.00 by the end of the summer." - kpaul, May 26, 2006.

Where did you "type 06"? In spring of '06 you predicted four dollars by "the end of the summer." Nobody on this planet means "the end of the summer after this summer" when he types that.

A "typo". Lying loser.

I predict a mile-wide asteroid will hit the Earth by next Wednesday.

If it doesn't, that was a typo. I mistakenly typed by Wednesday, April 11th, 2007 when I really meant to type by the first Wednesday after the day it actually happens.

There isn't any gas in Maine.

All the cars run on lobster squeezins.

Nothing new here. HD of Daytona, 2001. Every morning they pull the used bikes out to the street to display. Every night they ride them back into the garage. New guy gets on an Ironhorse with the 124" S&S, and proceeds to ride it straight into the wall. Dead as a doornail. Now they must wear helmets to ride the 100 or so feet.
