Nope, you never find a WHOLE HD in a junkyard, just the parts that have fallen off.

Dang, its not like I think HDs are actually that crap, but when you print the invitation in gold leaf, its just too hard to resist.

Hi there. E85 has a very high octane. If someone took the trouble to set an engine up for it properly, it can make more HP. An engine that would normally run 9.5 CR, on premium, could probably run 11CR, with E85. So, don't totally knock it, make use of it. And with the modern Sport bikes running upwards of 12 CR, an E85 modern sport bike could even run higer compression. On one of the Buell sights, a guy took a Buell Blast. He set it up to run on E85. Stock the Blast is 9.5 CR. He was running 12 to 1. Now , to take full advantage, he had to do head work and cams, and change out all the fuel components. Fairly cheap to do on a Buell Blast, very expensive on a GSXR1000. Blaine

I was half expecting that someone would make the same joke about Ford, GM, Dodge.

This is a common misconception that came from an oil industry funded study. The way they made the comparison of the "cost of energy" totally skewed the numbers. Ethanol is cost effective, it just isn't profitable to the oil companies.

As opposed to the non-partisan truth you get from agriculture industry-funded studies or environmentalist-funded studies. Sigh.

Wow, a 25 year old Honda design with big carb jets. Now that's R&D fer sure. Startling technology from the chicom devils...
