That's my plan, but from what I understand they don't let spectators any further down than the 3/4 mile mark.

Sorry that I posted that under "Anonymous", I had a couple in me and forgot to log in before I hit the button....

Think I found a place to crash, too... Buddy of mine has a ranch in the neighborhood, and is going to meet me at the event.

Anybody else going to be in the neighborhood? Google "goliad airpark" in google maps, and click on the Satellite button.

I can't wait!

I've been toying with the idea of going to Maxton. I think an event like that would be a gas.

We should give Texas back to Mexico, Considering their recent contributions from Johnson on up I'd say we'd be better off and it'd solve the illegal immigrant problem too. Just dig up the fence and move it a few miles north

That gave me a chuckle.

Texas is starting to grow on me, so I say we keep it but amend the Constitution to not allow Texans to ascend to the White House. I think that is a reasonable compromise.

Don't make us have to go and win our Independence from another dumb-assed country like we did once already....

Don't ever ask a man if he's from Texas; If he is, he'll tell you. If he's not, you don't want to embarrass him.

Is that' supposed to be: "The Peaceloving Socialist Peoples Republic of Texas?" Do y'all wear the gray jackets with the funny collars?

Default Maxton

Looks cool. Should make for a fun weekend. Or does that run longer? Either way, looks like a blast.

Pu-LEEZ!! You don't know us very well, do you? I think that was a (weak) stab at W. Either way, "Socialism" and "Texas" generally don't go the same sentence, paragraph, or book.

Default You just don't get it.

The Bushes and Johnson were part of Texas' clever plot to get revenge for losing the Civil War. And a dammed good revenge it's been, too.
