The stock bike feels more torquey down low and in mid rpm and the race kit gives a little more top end power (top end power not any extra top end speed) and better sound.

Wish I could have both, keep the torque down low and mid and get a little more top end.

"half the country buys it...."

Just remember that Texas is in that half that buys it. How crazy is that?

However, to conclude that I have a 66% greater chance of a specific type of injury without a helmet versus with a helmet from the statistics quoted is completely false. You can't apply "basic math" to statistics. That's how you get crap like what I see quoted in the newspapers.

Default Re: The TEXAS MILE!

Actually I have a detailed knowledge of American History. I'm quite aware of the history of Texas and it's short tenure as a "Republic." I'm also quite aware of Texans conservative values. That was the point of the humor in the comment. Sorry you didn't ge the joke.

More than anything, it's to watch the guys that have the equipment to go really fast... And it'll be a nice ride up there and back.

My comment was: Also: I'm no math whiz, but can someone explain to me how a 2% difference in fatalities "extrapolates" to a 66% greater chance of getting killed if you don't wear a helmet? HUH?

Your "math" comment implied you supported the orginal post's "extrapolation" that a 66% delta in some percentages equated a risk with versus without a helmet.

So, if you "didn't say that," just what was your point with the "Math ignorance/clueless" comment?
