Don't forget the drunk driving midnight dipper who rode his dead brothers coattails to the senate, then routinely pardons his various rapist and druggie newphews..

Kenneth, the only one who can make ignorant, clueless, and completely false comments on this board is KWalterMitty. YOu notice by his response that you are cutting in on his exclusive territory.

Well it's best to keep 'em in one place, just bait your traps with deep fried twinkies and hush puppies and crappy beer and they'll come (a) runnin'

Default 11:38 Quarter Mile time and 130 mph top speed

One of the motorcycle magazines I read regularly posted a 11:38 quarter mile for a stock XB12 Lightening.

Also, my 2004 XB12S Lightening with race kit tops out at 130 MPH. I think it's hitting the limiter as it doesn't seem to matter if it's level ground or down hill. It will hit the 130 MPH limiter before you hit a full mile.

So... it's probably not the best bike for you to be out there trying to win a standing start 1 mile run on.

You should probably trade for a Kawasaki 1400 Ninja or Suzuki Haybusa, bypass the limiter and put on a turbo if you want to be close to the top.

Default Math ignorance/clueless shown by kbully

right seems like you have a problem with basic math there kbully 5% is 66% bigger than 3% buddy..

(((5/100)-(3/100))/(3/100))=.66 i.e 66%

Ditto on the top speed on mine, I just think it would be fun to do it a couple of times and not have to worry about jail time.

Got a Drummer and K&N on mine, feel a moderate change, but let me ask you, how much does it change with the Race ECU? I'm planning on the Buell chip, then piggybacking a Dobeck Electronic Jet Kit on 'er...

Have a good one!
