"My Electra Glide doesn't perform like a Tuono but then the Tuono doesn't perform like my Electra Glide."

You mean your Glide parts are dirt cheap and in stock? Or your Glide doesn't wheelie in second?

One makes me say "Mama Mia!" and the other makes me say "git er done!"

Oh, it's not that I'll never again respond to him - I merely refuse to engage him in mindless repartee.

I finally realize I do myself no favour crossing intellectual swords with the self-styled GMP. I'm a slow learner in that respect, it would seem. But not a "No Learner".

I put in a request with MO for no "cowboy up" or "git er done" over 3 weeks ago.

Yeah well I banned "badass" and that didn't seem to help.

Gnarley is spelled with a G.

The worst word is "tasty" which Motorcyclist seems to use every other sentence.

I have to interrupt a perfectly good flame war, but did anybody notice that the death rate was lower for the older riders? I know they probably don't have as many 're-entry' riders as we do, and probably more riders who have been committed riders all along, but some of the language used also indicates that they view motorcycling as a perfectly reasonable way to get around, even though their weather sucks, whereas we seem to regard motorcycles as a fringe sport for lunatics. I don't know why we shouldn't steal a good idea, if were pretty sure it's a good idea. 911 started in a little corner of Alabama, and spread because it was a good idea. No need to reinvent the wheel here.
