The great thing about being from Maryland is that no one exects much from you except West Virginians. God bless you Texans.

I rode in the mid 20s without so much as a bandana and fullface helmet. Then I turned 30 and got some good thermalwear, a neoprene face protector, insultated gloves and quit riding past October altogether.

Anyone who says, without joking, that those features are "decadent capitalist" whatever they say they are, is probably some commie whacko living in a shack in the woods. If you are commuting to work, for instance, do you want to come in to your job looking like you just scaled McKinley? (minus the triumphant gait)

I looked at Triumph gortex gloves. Are they any good? I really need a cold weather glove replacement. I have had to shed my insulatory blubber liner per my cardiologist dictate, and my boney hands are paying the price. With the East experiencing a tremendous extended riding season (should get a very nice New Year's Eve eve ride in tomorrow) I need a good glove. With you being a grizzled old MO man I trust your word.

I've tried them both and they are both sorely lacking compared with a zesty session with a saucy wench.

Why wait? I hit the button at 60!

I just got back from Houston. I had the pleasure of attending the !st ever Texas Bowl featuring Rutgers and Kansas St.

I saved my ticket and one day I'll tell my grandkids, "I was there!"

Oh, grow a set sissy baby. Real bikers ride MX with no seat, no j-strap and let their balls slap off the tank till they go numb. Cold weather is just a way to tell when boys reach manhood.
