"The spending on the Iraq war just passed $350 billion too bad we didn't invest in biofuels"

Huh. Now I'm confused. I thought you always said that biodiesel was a practical, mature technology. Now you're saying that it needed $350,000,000 worth of support. What was the $350 mil needed for? To build Chrysler a biodiesel engine factory so you would actually buy a biodiesel car rather than just drone on about it?

Well, they don't help. When I was a kid, junk food was not sold anywhere on a school grounds. Now, that's what they eat. The junk food corporations pay big money to get there machines where they can create habits at an early age. It isn't so much a corporation doing something like that that bothers me. It's that we went along with it without protest.

Didn't 'W' and GM both sound like they thought it was 'the answer' for a while? It just kinda came and went, but I'm pretty sure it actually happened. Kinda like Milli Vanilli.

The govt can't even protect us from crooked plumbers. How is it going to protect us from multibillion dollar funded corporations? es

Answer: It doesn't.

Yes. Kerry was going to redress the inequalities of the gap between the rich and the poor by going after his wife!

What a bunch of fools believe that one party of the other is going to fix anything. Who do you think made it this way?

The total spending on the war in Iraq now equals the amount of pure pork earmarks that the congresscritters spend each year!

What I find most amusing is the people who whine and moan about evil corporations and then turn around and want a centralized govt that controls everything.

I've got news but the numbers of corpses produced by corporations is dwarfed by the corpses produced by govts.

I'll take my chances with corporations, thank you. Very few thin they gain by murdering millions od customers. And when they do kill it's in tiny numbers and usually accidental. Govts murder by the tens of millions... purposefully. Especially left wing govts. Commies/nazis (socialists) murdered what 100 million in the last century? All the Pinochets and Somozas are pikers in comparison. Even religious wars pale in comparison.
