Shift shaft seal leakage was very common on ZX-9's. You don't even want to go over the laundry list of problems with ZX-12s Kawasaki had. I have had at least as many problems with Japanese machinery as Harleys. The Harley stuff was always easy to fix though.

i wonder when we will get to see that famous 28000 mile ZX6......with him standing next to it. I bet it won't be any time soon. I guess being a liar will stall any efforts to show us.

Well, on the other hand a bike that's as overpriced as a BMW should be nigh perfect.

Good for Victory. I worked at a shop that was the first Victory dealer in GA back in '98. The project didn't start all that well for them and they adjusted, made improvements, and most importantly- they listened to the customer. When the Ness family came on 4 years ago it was the smartest move they could have made. Now, the bikes are fun and they (Victory) are just at the begining of R&D cycle for new models. Congrats Victory- well done.

As a guy who lives in MN I'm happy to see a local company climbing the latter and giving the traditional players a run for the money. I know a Victory is in my future..

Default No problems with *your* bike? Really?

No problems, except for the part of that sentence that says "My".

I bet he got it cheap. The Blue Book on a 27,500-mile ZX-6R has to be pretty low.

How many miles, that seems to be the key issue.

I would quibble, but then I'd be quibbling wouldn't I?

BMW's car QC has fallen off a bit, too as has Mercedes. How the mighty have fallen!

But I still like BMW bikes, can pay the freight and have a great dealer 3 miles from where my fat a$$ sits.

Oh, sorry. I quibbled.

A Felicitious Festivus to you.
