I think we should ALL wear helmets, all the time. Even in bed (headboard hazards, ya know).

I heard of it. That's the switch you press once to kill the engine at 60 mph, and then flip it back on a few seconds later and scare the shyt out of everyone near you with a tremendous backfire. Lots of fun.

Experience is a harsh teacher; she gives the test first, then the lesson.

That post was just too damn easy - I'm uprating your post to "humorous", but busting your points back down to zero, for that one.

Buz, I've come to expect better of you.......

Yeah, fun....until you blow open the muffler on your '67 352CI F250. Don't ask me how I know this.

Sometimes a cheap shot is still the best shot.

All's it takes is one mistake. Zero experience or many years of experience.

Maybe he lied when they asked him in the interview if he knew how to ride.

This reminds me of what happened to a friend of mine a couple of years back. He decided to teach his wife how to ride. He hopped on the back (first mistake) and told her to stear. He didn't tell her before she started where the clutch or brakes were (second mistake), and she didn't ask (third mistake).

Well, they were under way when things got out of control. He began shouting directions to her while she panicked and dumped. Thankfully, she only had a busted knee and some abraisons with a few stiches. My friend got off with some road rash and stiffness, but he should have had his head examined before he pulled that stunt. Now, you can hardly get her on one. Oh well, so ends what could have been some fun days on motorcylcles for them.
