All BMW's crashing, eh? I guess they just don't handle those slippery roads too well. Maybe they should ride them in Seattle where only Harley's fall down. I'd have to say the GMP has certainly made an ass of himself once again.

I too hope they recover quickly.

Heck, we've all had mindless crashes like this?

I once backended a car on old Rt 1 at Hampton Beach NH. I was watching the swimwear and not the traffic in front of me.

Lucky for me, only my pride was hurt, made even worse by the fact that the old man I hit thought the whole thing was the funniest thing that he ever saw! "Dang dumb kid on a kz750!"

As for the bikes in the news story, I too saw HD's. Not that it really matters. Still a dumb way to crash. TV cameras everywhere to add to the embarrassment!

You can bet that if the thief had snatched her Krispy Kreme the SS agents would have had the guy assuming the position in microseconds.

Welcome to Argentina.

Things stolen from our family in Latin America:

- Venezuela (3.5 yrs): one pair of sandals on the beach. Car radio from a parked car.

- Brazil (2.5 yrs): nothing

- Argentina (2.5 yrs): Rucksack in McDonalds table where my wife and both teenage sons were present at the time. My laptop bag containing company laptop, almost 3 months prepared expense claim with receipts and entire "Taken" series DVD collection. The bag was on top of a motorbike when I was 3 metres away paying the parking fee. My sons schoolbag. My wife´s handbag from the chair she was sitting in a lunch restaurant, containing all the important stuff you can imagine. Video camera from a hotel room (this was paid by the insurance). Digital camera from glove box of a car that was being serviced. Motorbike helmet.

- cruiz-euro

Argentina sounds a lot like L.A.

Default Something else for Burns to chortle about...

White House staffer attacked, beaten & robbed in Waikiki. Must be 'cause he works for the shrub. It'd NEVER have happened to a Dem.

Wake me when someone figures how exactly how the brand of cop bikes that crashed means anything to anybody.

Halliburton! Rove! Cheney!

Fellow goobers, there have been some mighty rancid threads around these here parts. This is certainly one of them.

Burns & Kook: do us all a favor and take a vacation. A long vacation. Very long. And while you are on your well deserved vacation, Burns - why not write something good & enjoyable. Bring something nice into the world instead of this rancid crap.

Kook - sorry, no suggestions for you. You are not worthy. As the delightful & late Jack Palance's character Curley said: "I crap better'n you."
