Why don't you meet me at the Cycle World show in Long Beach? We'll go halves on one and we can keep it in my garage.

Hypermotard is the way I'd go. The 1100 parts won't be hard to find. Just hard to get delivered if you live here. Seriously, the Griso is a sweet machine. I really hope that Guzzi gets distribution right. I truly like the machines.

Darn, I was hoping my experience was more the norm. I've heard horror stories from some long-time Guzzi owners but my rural Iowa dealer worked hard to dispel those notions prior to my buying the bike. I didn't get it from him, but he was a factor in the purchase.

I've been in your store I think. Nice place, staff and the puppy were very friendly. Two Navy guys were buying a couple of Speed Triples if I was in your store.

Thanks for the input tough...

Well half means that you pay for all of it and I waive the garage storage fee for my half.

Default Deja vue?

I really really hope these 8V work well and don't blow up like the Daytonas... They could make a nice range of bikes with a semi-modern motor. Although the 2V design is so bloody simple any fool with an adjustable wrench can do all the maintenance.

What's with all this Guzzi bashing? I wouldn't mind one for a relaxed quasi-sport-tourer to compliment my uncompromising Duc.
