1) Get the oldest, cheapest, ugliest two wheeled monstrosity you can find.

2) Tie a long sturdy rope to the frame.

3) Tie the other end of said rope to a 1 ton pickup.

4) Accelerate said pickup to 60 mph before the rope runs out.

5) Hang on.

Hows about the Dodge Tomahawk?

Darn near as much $$ as the Bugatti, or it may as well be for my budget, but it should do the job. It might beat the Bugatti's top speed too?

I suspect you're right about most good sport bikes being comparable to the Bugatti 0 to 60. Data seems hard to come by though. Very rider/driver dependent as you say but so too and with car times, yet you can find 0 to 60 mph data on virtually any car or pickup.

250 mph on that thing you better weld your hands to the bars and maybe your feet to the pegs

who cares how slow you are, just remind them that based on how much you spent vs how much they spent If it takes em more than a tenth of a second to get to sixty you still got em beat... If I can do 0-60 in 3 seconds for $10000, well you do the math!

Actually, this speed isn't an issue for me. Coz with me on/in it. Speeds over about 80 just aren't happening!!!! Unless that is, the thing says United, North West, or Delta on the side of it.

On this same line of thinking, I wonder if in the movie version of MO's Bike Vs. Bugatti test, like in Biker boyz the dude on the bike will win the race with no helmet or eye protection or, and this is my favorite, standing on the seat while crossing the finish line?

Yeah but he's getting his pick of the golddiggers when he rolls up to the local wine bar.
