How'd you like to track down parts for that baby?

I too am a former rotary owner and have a soft spot for the Mazda RX. I was pretty close to getting an RX8 two years ago but went German instead.

Well, good on ya for getting Harley to take some action (not that they could really deny that there was a problem) but yeah, I think the next question is how long? Like Sarnali said. Trade it in a Triumph while you can. I think a Speed Triple would be more your speed but, I like the Bonnies too.

Default Classics from the page.....

Couple of classic lines from that web site:

"But it wasn't the meters that scared the customers off. The 1976-year's model sold even worse than the 1975. On the important West German market, only 65 RE5 were sold in 1975 but the 1976 was even worse year - only one RE5 was sold!

A story tells that Suzuki Motor Company was so disappointed and angry because the RE5 flopped that they took all the remaining parts and bikes from the factory and dumped it all into the Japanese sea. I don't believe it's true but I can imagine the disappointment in Hamahatsu when they had to stop the production and take their losses. The adventure with the rotary engine cost Suzuki Motor Company millions of dollars."

Mike, I'd like to see the engine from KPaul's minivan in an AEE kit chopper. Would you go pull it for me please?

I think that was the Suzuki Samurai. Something like 50K was max engine life in those honkers.

Mazda has done a damn good job with the 2.3 L in my new Mazdaspeed 6. 274/280 hp/tq I should have sabotaged my wifes SUV earlier.

Ok, got the perfect plant, a 1961 GMC 305 V6! All torque and massively heavy, makes big blocks look tiny. Thats what cruising is all about right?
