The more I think about this rotary powered bike idea, the more I think it just might be feasible. Anyone know where I can source a used rx8 motor? Some one has to have binned a few of them by now.

Anybody remember the little 1800cc V-6 that was in the Mazda Mx-3? That could make a version of the Laverda V6, with a nice three-into-one header on each side...

The Rocket III has a motor that dwarfs the one in my Echo. I think the question for me is, "What bike engine would you like to see in your car."

Wasn't that engine made Suzuki and based on motorcycle engine technology? I remeber way back when looking at them at a dealer (stop laughing i was 18 and needed a cheap car) and the sales guy mentioned that.

Rotary was done by Suzuki in the 70's. Anyone remember this TURD?

To strip a V12 out of a Ferrari and stuff it in a cludged-together bike is an abomination. I suggest cramming the 3-cylinder diesel engine from my Kubota into a cruiser. The weight savings would be significant over the V-2's.

A WRX engine in a 70's era 911 would be a total kick in the ass.

Perfect for rainy day powerslides. LOL
