Default Billy Lane & Indian Larry, Juxtaposed

I don't know if you guys recall it, but Billy Lane and Indian Larry had a great build off.

Indian Larry had, if I recall correctly, long term sobriety, but was killed stunting sober on one of his mortorcycles.

Something tells me Billy Lane is going to be getting some sober time of his own.

Default Great guys on the chopper side.

Great role models on the chopper/cruiser side. Could you imagine this happening to Nicky Hayden or Freddie Spencer?

Like The Swimmer...That's what we called him back east. the Swimmer didn't go home, he went to a motel he was staying at. Still, if you have money, anything is possible.

So, is there anyone out there who is really surprised or shocked by this headline? Didn't think so.

Right! Well this goes back to original story by brother Moron Sqidbait on Sept. 6th. I would only remind fellow Morons that motorcyclists are, regrettably, no different than anyone else when it comes to exercising common sense. By way of example, let's take the response to Sqidbaits 9/6 submission by Moron (sic) christian_gates, who said, - - - " Indeed, I'm delighted to ride with someone who's had up to say 4 or 5 drinks." Enough said? Read his entirely unbelievable drivel under response to Moron mscuddy's remarks.

Default Bad mistake

Unfortunate but before you get your self righteous panties in a tight bunch villifying this guy, we had all better look in the mirror and just thank our maker that this sort of thing doesn't happen to any of us. Billy Lane made a bad error in judgement and has to account for it and probably will. Next time anyone of us speeds over the limit or pops a wheelie could end in disaster for ourselves, a passenger or some innocent smuck in the wrong place and at the worst possible time. You can bet that Billy Lane hasn't taken this lightly at all. He most probably wishes he'd been the one killed. All I'm saying here is that these kind of things happen somewhere someplace all the time and all those involved have enough problems without the self righteous lynching them from home on their computers. Oh yeah, and Janklow was a completely different case. He should have fried.

Well, Billy's hero is Indian Larry (who I really liked, but who died doing something stupid). Larry would have beaten the crap out of Billy for doing something so stupid...wish Larry was still around...

In Georgia, get drunk and kill somebody with your car, you get 15 years in State Prison...usually means 2 to 5 if you have money...but everbody who kills while driving drunk gets jail time...assuming they get convicted...

He was already driving on a suspended license for a previous DUI that was still pending trial. Better start printing campaign buttons...
